Hi there, you kinky plant parent!

I’m Magda, a ceramics artist and a lifelong plant lover living in Barcelona, Spain.

Since I can remember, I’ve been planting seeds, buds, and cuttings in any empty can, jug, or kettle that could hold dirt and water. And when I ran out of vessels, I took up pottery and learned how to make cozy little homes for each of my blooming friends.

One thing I noticed over the years is that pots have a real relationship with the plants they host. On the one hand, plants have simple needs. They like it wet and dirty, and doing it with the lights on.

However, pots are pickier about their leafy tenants. Some like them big. Others like them small but lively. Some like them loose and hanging. And others like them planted deep inside again, and again, and again, and…you get the picture.

Some of my plants are still alive today, others died along the way, and I have some cactuses that will surely outlive me. One thing’s for sure: I love them all and wish to let them speak freely.

My Dirty Potz project is meant to give a voice to the hidden life of pots and the kinky thoughts they have.

If you share my passion, buy one of my pots (or more) and give your plants a bold, new look.

Thanks!
